POSITION

ROLE PURPOSE
• Investigate product specific customer & market segments & technologies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. MARKET ANALYSIS (15%)
• Analyse the Worldwide Consumer market trends and competitors in a specific segment in close collaboration with the Market Analyst (Strategy Department)
• Analyse the competitors offer in this segment
• Analyse Worldwide market price trends in this segment to anticipate their evolution
• Analyse the Worldwide distribution specificities and their impact on the Product/Accessories and Merchandising strategy in this segment
2. PRODUCT MANAGEMENT (25 %)
• Identify Product development opportunity in a well defined segment (targeted end user, targeted price, targeted commercial offers, ..)
• Decline Product high-level specifications agreeing technical approach with the appropriate technical team (physical design brief, software design as well as contents and accessories, including MMI as well as features)
• Develop business requirements for products & ensure these are linked to business priorities and business strategy
• Plannify consumer tests to validate these specifications (design, colors, MMI, …)
• Brief the Project team to validate technically these specifications.
• Give recommendations for marketing and strategic plan.

3. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (40%)
• Assist project team during the product development phase in order to ensure proper implementation of the product Specifications and to secure product manufacturing cost
• Coordinate design creation with Design department
• Coordinate MMI specifications with the Ergonomy department
• Coordinate the Manual User Guide (french and english masters only)
• Define the OEM alternatives
• Define the Accessory policy
4. PRODUCT LAUNCH (10%)
• Promote collaborative knowledge sharing with Sales & Marketing Department to ensure right product proposals & messages to end-users and customers.
• Assist Product Marketing Manager in organizing commercial launch
• Coordinate between project team and S&M team in order to have product production capacities fitting with priority product deliveries
• Ensure product and dummies availability for marketing actions and priority countries
• Provide all necessary information for marketing tools definition (product communication, POS materials, presentations, marketing operations)
5. TEAM BUILDING (10%)
• Maintain & promote effective knowledge & best practice sharing within the P&S team in China and in Colombes.
• Share ideas on other product definition.
