Senior Member of Technical Staff - Solution Engineer/Global Services

Location: Beijing

Major Responsibilities:

1.        Understand customer’s requirements and deliver proposal to the customer.

2.        To define scope of work (SoW) together with Spirent sales/SE and the customer; Coding based on customer’s requirement, unit test on code level.

3.        Customize solution by integration software and hardware.

4.        Deliver code or test cases on time and provide necessary on-site debugging;

5.        Analysis code issues and resolve.

6.        Provide quality product support for local customer;

7.        Timely report to project manager;

8.        Work close with Global Services and other teams such as sales team.

9.        Other duties may be assigned.

Requirement:

1.        Postgraduate student in Computer Science or Communication Engineering;

2.        Familiar with industrial popular open source software/code such as: Zabbix, Flexible IO Tester, Cloudify, UI Automator, etc;

3.        Strong ability on software integration by coding;

4.        Familiar with the Virtualization Technology, such as OpenStack, NFV;

5.        Familiar with Linux, understand the Linux process, Memory Management, File System and physical and virtual network knowledge;

6.        Experience of software design and Script language, such as Python, JAVA, TCL, Ruby;

7.        Working experience more than 5 years, test automation experience more than 3 years;

8.        Knowledge and experience of communication and associated network theories, such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, SDN and OSPF/BGP/ISIS/FTP/HTTP would be a benefit;

9.        Adaptable to new environment and new technologies. Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills;

10.        Must be a good team player;

11.        Good English communication ability, both in written and spoken;

12.        Willing to travel;

Nice to have:

1.        CCNP/CCIE certification is a plus.

2.        SCPA/SCPE certification is a big plus.
