The CPRI spec defines a digitized radio Base Station(BS) internal interface specification between the Radio Equipment Control (REC)and Radio Equipment (RE), as shown in Figure 1. Note that Iub refers to theinterface between the Radio Network Controller (RNC) and UMTS radio BS (NodeB), while Uu refers to the UMTS air interface.
